R2 STOOL
THESE ALUMINIUM PROFILES, LEFT OVER FROM AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT, HAD BEEN STORED FOR NEARLY 15 YEARS. THROUGH UPCYCLING COMBINED WITH RECYCLED PLA BOTTLE PLASTICS THE STOOLS TOOK SHAPE, GUIDED BY THE LIMITATIONS AND CHARACTER OF THE MATERIAL ITSELF. EACH PIECE EMBODIES A DIALOGUE BETWEEN WASTE AND FUNCTION, INDUSTRY AND FORM, TRANSFORMING FORGOTTEN ELEMENTS INTO STURDY, LIGHTWEIGHT STOOL OR A SIDE TABLE.
